“To recognize that “I am the one who chooses” and “I am the one who determines the value of an experience for me” is both an invigorating and a frightening realization.”
    Carl Rogers

It can be a both liberating and frightening experience when we realize that we can live our lives in many different ways, and there is no perfect, universal pattern.

During individual counselling my role is to help the clients explore and phrase their authentic needs, and support creating the most aligning experiences leading to a true-to-self journey.

I consider myself as an assistant creating a safe, curious, acceptive and supportive space for the clients’ self-fulfillment.

When is it useful to go to counselling? Shortly: almost always. When we are facing a new challenge and have no idea of how to get to it. When we have been dragging problems along for a long time, but finally decide to work on it. When we realize that everything is currently going well in our lives, and would like to be more conscious in uptaining it. When we feel there is something uncomfortable in our lives, but cannot point at it – scheduling a consultation can be helpful in identifying the focus point of the current difficulties.

I believe that as we take care of our physical health we should maintain our psychological well-being just as well through improving our psychological awareness – especially as it is unfortunately not taught in school. So it is important for me to take part in the psychoeducational events of the foundation to further support those who are committed to improving themselves.

I can offer support in the following areas:

    • Life management counselling
    • Self-awareness, Self-esteem
    • Stress management
    • Performance problems
    • Social and communication difficulties
