„God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.”
Reinhold Niebuhr’s Serenity prayer
I am committed to person-centred psychology.
I personally believe that life is a gift. Everyone has been given one. There is difficulty in all of them because none is perfect, and there is beauty in all of them because none is imperfect. They are only different.
In this diversity, one cannot always choose what to face. It is not up to him. But one can choose how to face it.
And in this respect, we are the only masters of our lives, the only protagonists of our life’s journey, the only writers of our novels. In person-centred words: the only candidates for our own self-actualisation. And this is no different in us:
The path of our lives is ours alone!
Yet we need not walk without support and help. If we are on the road or looking for the way, if we have fallen or are about to get up again, if we are afraid and need to calm down, if we are suffering and would rather start again: we can be there for each other as companions, signposts or hiking poles to help.
That’s exactly how I want to help you. As a guide. Instead of decisions, choices and steps – which each one of us can only take for himself – with my attention, my understanding, my acceptance.
And if you feel that you are looking for a companion in your life’s journey, you may have come to the right place!
I can help you in the following areas:
- Self-knowledge
- Career choices
- Finding a career
- Self-assessment
- Life guidance
