dr. Mirnics Zsuzsanna
clinical psychologist
“Psychotherapy helps to find the angel of hope in the state of terror, despair, and anger.” Cloe Madanes
As a clinical psychologist, my main therapeutic approaches include schema therapy, brainspotting (trauma therapy), art therapy, and development-oriented guided imagery with elements of hypnotherapy. I have been working with clients for over 15 years, both individually and in group settings. I regularly support “healthy” individuals facing minor or major crises and challenges, while also working with those living with personality disorders and more profound difficulties.
I strive for a complex perspective, a solid theoretical foundation, and thorough research-based knowledge. I continuously develop my professional skills and learn a great deal from my clients as well. Inspired by the principles of schema therapy, I aim to integrate the strengths of both psychodynamic and cognitive approaches.
In my relationship with clients, I prioritize a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, viewing them as partners in guiding their own personal development. My most important professional mentors are Dr. József Pál Vass, hypnotherapist and my supervisor, and Andrea Bálint, schema therapist. Two years ago, the Jólélek Foundation entrusted me with a supervisory role, and since then I have been supporting young colleagues with joy and confidence in their professional growth.
