Fertility difficulties and adoption
Having a child is one of our deepest wishes, and when it does not happen the way we planned, it can reshape our whole life. Medical tests, waiting and the cycles of assisted reproduction – hope, waiting, result, disappointment, starting again – are physically and emotionally exhausting, and they often put the relationship to the test as well. In counselling we offer a safe, accepting space and support for carrying the weight of waiting, working through losses, making decisions and staying connected to each other. Adoption is not the end of the story but the beginning of a new chapter, so we can also support prospective and adoptive parents – through preparation, the waiting period and growing into the new parental role.
