Nagy Anna
psychologist
At some point in our lives, we may all find ourselves in situations where we need external support to face a difficulty or feeling of being stuck. Situations that are often considered a natural part of life — such as entering a new community, experiencing family conflict, or changing jobs — can sometimes feel like problems that are impossible to untangle.
My aim is to ensure that those who turn to me do not have to face these feelings alone — even when the people around them may see them as merely “everyday” difficulties. I believe that everyone is the best expert on their own life; my role is to complement this inner knowledge with my professional expertise, practical exercises, and a safe and accepting space.
Alongside my counselling work, I currently work as a school psychologist. Previously, I also gained experience as a volunteer in a hospital setting, working with children and young adults. Working with a wide range of life situations and crises on a daily basis continually reinforces my belief in the importance of providing a supportive presence and building upon the inner resources that individuals already possess.
I offer my help in the following topics:
- Career and educational choices
- Challenges of young adulthood
- Family and relationship conflicts
- Social difficulties
- Self-awareness and self-esteem
- Difficulties in managing everyday life
For my work, I rely on the knowledge acquired in the following trainings:
MA in Psychology, 2026 – ELTE PPK, Counselling and School Psychology
BA in Psychology, 2024 – ELTE PPK
