“When we open our hearts to pain, we open our hearts to joy.”
Dr. Steven Hayes
We are often taught that pain should be hidden and put behind us as quickly as possible. But whatever we lock away inside also locks us away from joy, closeness and the aliveness of life. So in our work together the goal is not to make the pain disappear, but to create a place with enough basic safety that we are able to look at it – because what can be put into words no longer quietly runs our lives.
My work is grounded in a systemic approach. I believe the roots of our difficulties often become visible in the mirror of our relationships. The point is not to “fix” the person, but to look together at the relational and family patterns they live in, the defences they use to cope, and how these shape the present.
My main focus is grief and loss. It is not only the death of a loved one that hurts, but every loss the world around us often fails to notice: a failed IVF cycle, a miscarriage, a divorce, a lost job, or a dream that can no longer come true.
As a dual citizen, I am close to the questions of moving abroad, rootlessness and returning home. I also welcome people wrestling with faith, doubt or a spiritual search – whichever direction they are heading, I do not steer them either way.
What matters most to me is that you can voice your questions, doubts and fears in an accepting, non-judgemental space, where you do not have to justify anything – neither what happened to you, nor the way you experience it.
I work in both Hungarian and English.
